Each year, the ACLA Student Summit brings together architecture students from across Southern California for a dynamic, student-centered dialogue on the future of the profession. This interactive forum invites students to voice their perspectives, share their experiences, and engage directly with practicing architects, educators, and community leaders.
The summit explores critical questions: How can architecture better prepare students for the challenges of practice? What tools, knowledge, and networks are most urgently needed to ensure a smooth and equitable transition from education to the profession?
By placing students at the center of the conversation, ACLA reaffirms its mission to empower emerging voices, bridge gaps between academia and practice, and shape a more inclusive and responsive architectural landscape.
Together, we imagine a profession that not only reflects the diversity of our communities but actively supports the next generation in leading it.
