K-12 Committee

The ACLA K12 Initiative is dedicated to inspiring and empowering K-12 students and their families through inclusive educational programs.

Our goals include introducing students and families to the field of architecture, fostering partnerships with schools and like-minded organizations, and positioning ACLA as a leading resource for all Los Angeles K-12 institutions seeking to learn about architecture. Join us in building inclusive pathways for the next generation of architects!

Upcoming Events
"The Build a Green LA program will engage with 9-12 grade students on sustainability and environmental justice, highlighting architects' roles in addressing climate change. Through annual charrettes, students will learn how architecture shapes the built environment and receive education about climate change. The program aligns with ACLA's goal to increase awareness of the built environment's impact on the planet and the power of sustainable design to create a better Los Angeles.”
